Exploring the sight and sounds of Frankfurt....

Hello from Frankfurt....I flew from Atlanta nonstop on Friday, October 14....8 hours into Frankfurt International Airport.  I am visiting a very good friend, and Frankfurt for the first time.  What a lovely city, it is very green, lots of trees, flowers, green space, old architecture, chocolate, German cars (Mercedes, BMW, VW, everywhere).  I was amazed by the abundance of fresh fruit and fresh meats available at the markets.  And need I mention the Autobahn?  Fast cars, fast drivers, and no speed limits in some areas.  Really cool and FAST.     Tonight, dinner at the Blue Monkey restaurant.  What an incredibly lovely old German restaurant, with an incredible wine selection.  The most amazing chicken, fried potatoes....and a lovely wine.    Pictures and more details to come....Wishing all a great weekend.
